We
love to work with and encourage Engineering College
students with various projects. Presently we
are assisting various groups representing various
disciplines with projects related to R/C
and Transportation. Aero-Sports can provide designs,
advice, materials, work shops, sponsorships,
hostel facilities etc to make your creative/entrepreneurial
dreams come true. Typically, a team consists
of 5 Members. Projects should be completed in
the Final Semester over a span of 6-8 weeks.
Once you contact us, we will have a face to face
meeting and evaulate your project. Sometimes,
you may have to modify your project in order
to make it feasible. The next step is to
get a letter from your HOD approving the project.
After that we can commence work. :)
There
are three kinds of Projects that we support:
GROUP
A: These
are final year students from Colleges where we
have installed a GOLD PACKAGE or Aeromodeling
Center of Excellance. We have to give these students
first preference. The students will have to pay
for all the materials they need to use. After
the project is over you can keep the Exhibits
or Aero-Sports may make an offer to buy it.
GROUP
B: These
are projects that Aero-Sports need to get done
for our own purposes.We provide all the resources
including 100% funding. The exhibits will belong
to Aero-Sports once your project has been evaluated.
GROUP C: We get many inquiries
from students who have read or heard about us
and wish to do a mini or major project at our
extensive workshop at Thrissur. In such cases
we charge you a flat fee of Rs.25,000 per project
which includes the complete cost of creating
a 3 Channel R/C Yellow Bird. Each project
will be for 2 full days at our new Technology
Center located in Thrissur and each
batch can have up to 5 students. Economical Boarding & Lodging
is available nearby. After the project is over
you can keep the R/C Yellow Bird. At present
we have many such students mostly from Mechanical,
Electrical, Electronics and Aeronautical Engineering
streams.
