7. Why have you preferred to go with Electric Powered R/C?

Aero-Sports has been promoting R/C in Kerala for almost one year. Unlike other individuals and organizations we have had an opportunity to interact and experiment with many permutations and combinations in Aero modeling. Our goal is to have the maximum number of people take to the air successfully and enjoy this thrilling Hobby & Sport. With model airplanes carrying internal combustion engines this high success rate is not possible. With electric R/C we have the following advantages:

  1. Smaller planes lead to the need for smaller flying grounds, ease of transportation etc.
  2. No need to procure methanol as a fuel which is a controlled substance and difficult to purchase.
  3. Easy to start electric powered planes that offer no pollution and can be flown almost silently.
  4. Our planes are easy to repair in case of crashes.
  5. Three channeled R/C Air planes are easy to learn especially amongst school children in the age group (8-15).
